i almost gave a great review, but the room lock wasn’t working right and the glasses provided were not cleaned. shocking! also, i was expecting a welcome gift or maybe some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. apparently, that’s too much to ask at vinland guesthouse. not impressed, to say the least.

I had a wonderful stay at vinland guesthouse! The room was spacious and well-equipped with a microwave and fridge, which made it super convenient. After a long day exploring, the peaceful setting with low light pollution allowed for amazing aurora views.

The only down point was the refrigerator. it lacked a freezer, which limited our ability to store ice packs for our cooler.

For delicious breakfast, consider shopping at the nearby supermarket. making use of the room's kitchenette is a great way to enjoy meals surrounded by nature.

I had a cozy one-night stay here, and the mobile home setup was both clean and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location was ideal for spotting the northern lights, though the surrounding light made it less than perfect for that. The facilities were well-equipped with a microwave and electric kettle for convenience. However, having a freezer would have been a nice addition for keeping cooler packs frozen.

We enjoyed our stay with the dogs in this warm, cozy place. The geothermal hot water in the shower was a hit, and we loved watching the colorful sunset over the snowy peaks while surrounded by peaceful nature sounds.

My kids wished for a bigger area for their shoes.

This was just an optimal selection for a date night in Egilsstadir with outstanding value for money. We had plenty of space and appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room, which made it convenient for late-night snacks. Bring your own breakfast supplies since it's not included.
